Collecting the debris left behind by Hurricane Irma is an enormous task. But the department’s bulky waste collection crews and hundreds of trucks and crews from six contracted debris haulers continue to work seven days a week to ensure that every debris pile will be collected.
The Miami-Dade County Hurricane Irma Debris Removal Viewer allows you to enter your address to see whether debris removal is in progress, completed or pending. The map is live, making it easy for you can check back regularly for updates.
Miami-Dade County’s Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) is collecting debris from Hurricane Irma form the curbsides of single-family homes and from the public right-of-way of its waste collection service area and the cities of Medley, North Bay Village and South Miami.
